Since its introduction, the SALA gear has tackled numerous challenges, from the heavy mining industry’s transport needs to the wind power industry’s requirement for high resistance to varying torque.
In recent years, with the focus on sustainable wind energy, Our group has adapted the SALA gearboxes for this demanding application, making SALA the preferred gearbox in the wind power industry for applications up to 25 kW.
The unique and patented KIBO® axle assembly is also available as an option. The KIBO® solution allows for easy disassembly of the SALA gear from the machine shaft, greatly simplifying service and maintenance tasks
