Steel tubes with diameters ranging from 20 to 50 mm are produced using a cold drawing process. The steel strips pass through each gear unit’s output double shafts, where different shape dies are mounted on both output shafts. As the steel strips pass between the dies, they are formed into steel tubes of specific diameters. These gear units are installed in series. The first gearbox has three inputs: the first input is connected to an electric motor, the second input is connected to the input of the next gearbox, and the third input is connected to a generator. This setup ensures that, in case of a power failure, the tube drawing process can continue operating. The other gear units in the series have double-extended input shafts. These types of gears are specially developed for this application.
